Type: Realm (Transcendent/Angelic)

Transcendent space between life and death. The only known location completely void of hyperlight, it exists by nature of necessity, not generative energies. Incomprehensible architecture, non-linear chronology, space outside of space.

Whether environments and structures exist independent of their observer is unknown, but most who enter the Interim have no memory of the space until they return to it in death. The only known exceptions to this case are those who come into the area of influence of barrier-weakening anomalies like The Viridian.

Speaking is a vicarious activity, individuals only able to say the words and phrases passed through them by the Interim or its environments.

Accessible directly only via death. Accessible indirectly via dreams, memory, and anomalous contact.

No documented rive has ever opened directly into the Interim.
