The collective unconscious energy of all sentient beings, an aurora perfuse through all dimensions. The generative force for the Greater and Lesser Dreams, thoughtforms, egregores, and the Ouroboros itself. The unseen foundation of phenomenal reality.

Transference
Hyperlight transference is a method by which psychic energy (consciousness, memory, etc.) can be given from a subject-source to a destination-object.
Rive
Hyperlight rives are tears in physical reality where hyperlight is able to visibly leak in. Rives are traversable, but their exit locations are entirely unknown.
Shroud
Hyperlight Shrouds are a method of cloaking objects by disallowing their ontological superposition from being compressed by subject observation. The method allows the hyperlight perfusion of reality to continue through the shrouded subject, rather than bending around it, therefore making it invisible and intangible to subjects without working Ciphers.

Hyperlight entities are any sentience composed of — or generated by means of — hyperlight.
Wisp
Amorphous entities composed of hyperlight, which build physical bodies to mimic the creatures they observe. Colloquially known as “shapeshifters”.
Angel
An orb of solidified hyperlight with a shifting, multicolored surface. Able to possess living matter. Possessed humans descend quickly into religion-nonspecific evangelical psychosis, zeal interrupted only by sedation.
Angels’ appearances change based on the flux of unknown variables, and seem to be different each time they are observed. Additionally, angels show their true forms only to the possessed via waking visions and deep dreams — and thanks to ARGOS(C) Memory Engram technology, all presented angelic forms are documented as they appear.
Physical damage to angel-possessed host bodies is observed to generate a rive exactly 20m away from the body, in the direction of the open wound. Each rive exists for as long as the host’s wound is unhealed, so DEIMOS was tasked with building a stabilization apparatus to keep them open as long as it took for Scouts to explore and document the Angelic Realms. Since host bodies have enhanced healing ability, destabilized wounds may close in as quickly as a few seconds — and if a stabilizer is placed improperly, wounds have been documented to close around the apparatus.
