The Research Triad ( 1 )
The trifurcation of ARGOS(C) operations, formed after Adrian accepted his place as the egregore’s channel. Prior to the Eclosion, PHOBOS mostly studied the direct effects of the Omen on reality; after the Eclosion, operations expanded quickly as anomalous activity spiked and there was more to study, contain, and more dangerous ideas to manage.
PHOBOS and DEIMOS work in tandem, and often in complete secrecy. PHOBOS scouts perform field operations, locating, observing, and documenting reality-affecting phenomena - after which, DEIMOS technical teams move in and handle containment, if possible. HYPERION is the most forward-facing of the Research Division Triad, offering services to the public to assist with memory, perception, and temporal disintegration. The final arm of the Triad enables a perfect synergy between all three: PHOBOS and DEIMOS complete operations, and HYPERION ensures that they - and the anomalies they document and contain - remain in the shadow.
NOTICE: All knowledge and data surrounding the ARGOS(C) Corporation Research Division Triad portrayed herein is the product of your imagination. Any resemblance to the SCP Foundation, its employees and anomalous research, events or localities is entirely coincidental. Each anomaly documented by ARGOS(C) has been successfully contained. There are no outstanding reality-affecting phenomena. Nothing waits behind the moon.
Thank you for your cooperation.

The Research Triad ( 1a ): PHOBOS Ontology
ARGOS(C) Corporation's research division in charge of locating, observing, and documenting reality-affecting phenomena.
The Research Triad ( 1b ): DEIMOS Technical
ARGOS(C) Corporation's research division in charge of research and development of hardware and software for general ARGOS(C) operations, in and beyond the main Division Triad, as well as handling technical containment of documented phenomena.
The Research Triad ( 1c ): HYPERION Memetics
ARGOS(C) Corporation's research division in charge of perception management, idea generation and seeding, zeitgeist adjustment, and memory engram creation. A help line is open for public contact regarding anomalous memetic activity.

HYPERION Communications Matrix
Over the half-century following Eclosion, ARGOS(C) has a series of monolithic facilities constructed across the world, each connected to one or more of its counterparts, forming a matrix network by which the megacorporation can effectively monitor and manage ideas and perception as their anomalous operations expand.
After Point Isolation (04) earned its name, HYPERION staff saw fit to assign code names to each of the other facilities in kind — all eight facilities bear unofficial names in reference to their location.
The names are as follows:
HCM-01 “POINT TUNDRA”
HCM-02 “POINT APHELION”
HCM-03 “POINT ABYSS”
HCM-04 “POINT ISOLATION”
HCM-05 “POINT PRECIPICE”
HCM-06 “POINT UMBRA”
HCM-07 “POINT CONVERGENCE”
HCM-08 “POINT CRYO”
Like many other ARGOS(C) campuses, each facility is equipped with a hyperlight shroud, enabled to exist in normal reality while being completely undetectable to nearly all observers and technology. Employees entering and leaving must carry a functional Cipher in order to perceive the building, as unaided observation does not compress the architecture’s existential superposition. The constructs are paired, as well, to geostationary nodes in the corporation’s satellite network which, suspended in high orbit, do not require shrouding.
Innumerable eyes, innumerable fingers — ARGOS(C) stretches its ghostly anatomy across the planet, frigid exosphere to scarred ground.
Nothing is unseen.
Nothing is untouched.

The Sleep Lucidity Program (SLP) and ARG-ULTRA
A public program hosted by ARGOS(C) marketed as a study on sleep, dreams, and lucidity. The program consisted of seven trials wherein participants would be induced into sleep within a sensory deprivation chamber while a series of frequencies would be played. Each frequency was being studied for its effects on the brain while sleeping. During each trial study, a segment of the participant’s consciousness is copied onto a Dream Image Disk (DID), with the final trial completing the digitization.
Once the consciousness had been copied completely, the body was overdosed with sedatives and transported to a subterranean morgue beneath the main ARGOS(C) Research Campus.
This digitization process was performed for the shadow project “ARG-ULTRA”, documentation for which is marked as “NTK”.
How no one noticed the tens of thousands of disappearances can only be explained by the tireless work of Hyperion throughout the program, using data from the DIDs to effectively remove memory of participants as they completed their digitization.
The SLP/ARG-ULTRA projects were active from 1999 until 2019, when the Eclosion severed active connections to the Omen and reduced the efficacy of the hyperlight-aided technology boosted by its connection.
—
Dream Image Disk (DID)
Developed as a redundancy measure initially, DIDs enable ARGOS(C) researchers to separate consciousness from physicality, capturing it without the need for a Lure. All that is stored in the DID is a copy of the subject's consciousness, while the original is still dormant in the subject’s body until their Dissolution.
Each disk is stored in a drive connected to the Ouroboros simulation, and enables incorporeal existence for each subject, built with consciousness data, as well as read-write access to all memory data for ARGOS(C) engineers.
—
Ontological Cipher
A small, oddly-shaped keycard which enables the holder to see things shrouded by — or composed entirely of — hyperlight. Most ARGOS(C) architecture has a hyperlight shroud, so each employee must carry their Cipher in order to perceive the structure. Observation does not dissolve a shrouded object’s superposition, unless the observer is holding a working Cipher.
Holders are advised not to keep a Cipher on their person for longer than twenty-four (24) hours, as extended use of a perception-affecting device overloads the Default Mode Network in the brain, leading to long-term derealization and depersonalization in most cases, and persistent sensory hallucinations in others.
